Real-World Focus

At Sanctus K9, dogs live in a structured home environment and train in the same types of places you'll eventually expect them to behave — at home, in neighborhoods, around distractions, and in public.

This allows us to develop obedience that translates into everyday life instead of existing only inside a training environment.

Low-volume. Individualized. Built around the dog in front of us.

MEET ANTHONY

Owner & Lead Trainer, Sanctus K9

Sanctus K9 was built around a simple belief: obedience should make life with your dog better, not just make your dog look impressive during a training session.

I’m Anthony Lemons, owner and lead trainer of Sanctus K9. I intentionally keep my program low-volume so I can personally work with the dogs entrusted to me and give each one the individual attention the work requires.

My goal isn’t to create a dog that only listens to a trainer. It’s to build clear, reliable behavior, transfer that communication to you, and give you the skills to maintain it when your dog comes home.

Outside of my work with pet dogs, I’m constantly looking for ways to deepen my understanding of dogs and training. That includes exploring other facets of the field, such as decoy work, which has given me opportunities to learn more about working dogs, genetics, drive, and behavior under pressure.

For me, continuing to develop as a trainer is part of providing better training to every dog and owner I work with.
